Half-Rack Operating cases now include an option for an integrated telescoping tote handle and edge casters. Cases with these features provide the same level of protection with the increased functionality of a tote and casters for half-rack electronic equipment in a slide-out inner frame.
Standard options continue to include polymer handles, a tote handle rated to 125 pounds, molded in strikes and alignment guides, polymer stacking latches, molded in lid hangers, and molded in inserts for field replaceable hardware. Three inch lids are available with mounting provisions for pouches and spare hardware. Thread forming (Plastite) fasteners are utilized for pouch, spare hardware, isolators, and stacking latches.
Half-rack with a tote and casters have completed transit drop testing IAW MIL-STD-810G with a payload of 72 pounds, and this series of products was designed to meet typical MIL-STD-810G Environmental requirements including: High and Low Temperature, Humidity, Low Pressure, Altitude, Rapid Decompression, Secured Cargo Vibration, Loose Cargo Vibration, Transit Drop Shock, Wind Blown Sand and Dust, Wind Blown Rain, and Fungus.
The molded Loadmaster® stacking feature allows for stackability with previously fielded TSC rackmount cases as well as Loadmaster® rotationally molded transit case.
